Day...What Day Is It???

11:46 a.m. My diet has entirely too many "Day One" days. Spent the last couple of days with my family, hanging out, eating, watching Netflix, and slowly (ish) growing out of my clothes. Is there a genetic defect where you get no willpower? 

In any case, Mom has decided that dieting should recommence. Unfortunately, I've already started the day with a Poptart. Super start to my billionth Day One. Should be salad for lunch at least. 

12:15 p.m. Whoops. Cheezits. 

1:33 p.m. Salad for lunch. There we go. Fat free ranch, chicken, ham, tomatoes, and cheese.

Day two

10:50 a.m.   Started today at 218 even. How the hell that happened, I have no clue. Only thing I can think of is a tapeworm or my weight is running late. Super. 

So far breakfast is Honey Bunches of Oats Greek Yogurt Cereal. 

Not bad, but definitely not Lucky Charms. However, I am driven by the fact that I have been looking for a new pair of boots for weeks. Doesn't seem so motivating, til you throw in that my calves are free spirits and refuse to be constrained by anything, including adorable yet affordable tall black boots. Jerks. 

1:38 p.m.   Work sucks. Want to eat to make time go faster. Plus there is an energy drink in the fridge that's calling my name. Trying to think of boots.

Day One

12:08 p.m.   I think I came up with this blog idea a year or two ago, and then I'm sure was promptly distracted by a bag of Doritos. Since then my weight has zig-zagged, twirled, swing-danced, and acrobated all over the place. 

So starting today, I'm at least writing about it where anyone can see so I might be able to wrestle myself into some form of self-restraint. Even if I'm the only one who reads it...well we can just pretend. 

Started off well today with a banana and Greek yogurt, and then all went to hell with an energy drink and approximately a third of a bag of Ringold JalapeƱo Cheddar pretzels. I'm sure totally healthy. Good side, downloaded My Fitness Pal calorie tracker. Worth a shot, starting tomorrow? Blugh.  

Starting weight: 219.4 lbs (yikes!)

Hopefully measurements to come soon. 

1:43p.m.   Just remembered there's wine at home. Already questioning diet. 

3:26p.m.   McDonald's for lunch. Chicken nuggety goodness. Have decided to have "last shebang". Obviously I need to tack on 5 more pounds to lose. 

9:57p.m.   Shopping over, having macaroni and mashed potatoes for dinner. I will miss them so much. *dramatic sob* Also, finishing bottle of wine. Can't leave that kind of temptation in the fridge.
